LanzaroteON is a content and affiliate-link site, not a separate agency. It belongs to Markit Tech Ventures Ltd of Gibraltar, the same company that runs excursionslanzarote.com (TravelON). Its booking buttons lead there, with the same non-refundable 25% deposit.

Plenty of people weigh up LanzaroteON against excursionslanzarote.com as if they were two options. They are not. This page explains what the LanzaroteON brand is, how we checked it and what it means for you when you click "book" on a buggy tour. We checked it on 6 October 2026. We are not partners of LanzaroteON or TravelON.

Quick verdict

LanzaroteON is not a separate channel. It is the editorial front door to a single business. Any buggy you book from lanzaroteon.com ends up on excursionslanzarote.com, with TravelON's prices, deposit, pick-up and cancellation policy.

Good for: reading about excursions on the island, if you like its format. Not good for: comparing prices or terms with excursionslanzarote.com, because you would be comparing one company with itself.

Are LanzaroteON and excursionslanzarote.com the same company?

Yes. The lanzaroteon.com privacy policy, last updated on 22 November 2023, names Markit Tech Ventures Ltd, registered at Portland House, Gibraltar, as the data controller. That is the same company named in the footer of every excursionslanzarote.com product page as the operator of the TravelON World brand.

Its terms page is an unfilled template with no company number. We could not find a Gibraltar company number for the business either.

How it works: from lanzaroteon.com to the booking

LanzaroteON's "Book Excursions" section links to excursionslanzarote.com, partly through the company's own affiliate tracking system. On the excursions page there is a block headed "Buggies Lanzarote" promising everything from standard buggies to "super high powered" ones, which leads through the same system to the TravelON catalogue. There is also a direct link to its trike tour.

Put simply: LanzaroteON does the content and excursionslanzarote.com takes the money. We are an affiliate site too (we earn commission from GetYourGuide, as explained in our affiliate disclosure), so the model is nothing unusual. What is worth knowing is that one company sits behind both brands.

Watch out: "Buggies Lanzarote" on LanzaroteON is not the Puerto Calero company

On lanzaroteon.com, "Buggies Lanzarote" is just a generic section heading. It has nothing to do with Buggies Lanzarote, the operator at Puerto Calero marina that runs the La Geria route in automatic Can-Ams.

If that is the company you are after, see our Buggies Lanzarote review. Its 3-hour tour costs €170 per two-seater buggy on GetYourGuide, about €85 per person if there are two of you, and €160 on its own website (€150 with its online discount). On GetYourGuide: check dates for the Puerto Calero tour.

What you pay and what you risk if you book via LanzaroteON

Because the booking is completed on excursionslanzarote.com, its terms apply:

  • Prices per vehicle, generally the same as on GetYourGuide: €150 for the 2-seater north buggy, €170 for Lanzabuggy's Can-Am Trail, €180 for the 4-seater on-road tour.
  • A 25% deposit when you book and the balance on the day of the tour.
  • The deposit is non-refundable. If you paid in full and cancel in time, a €25 admin fee is deducted.
  • Hotel pick-up included on all its tours.

The full breakdown of products, operators, deposits and reviews is in our excursionslanzarote.com review. There we also explain which tours name Aventura Lanzabuggy as the operator.

LanzaroteON reviews

There are no reviews of LanzaroteON as a seller, because it does not sell anything. What counts is TravelON's reputation: 2.2 out of 5 on Trustpilot from just 27 reviews, with complaints about support that is hard to reach, pick-ups that go wrong, the €25 fee and deposits. The star ratings on its product pages are its own and cannot be verified.

Other ways to book a buggy tour in Lanzarote

  • GetYourGuide (our partner): same list price, free cancellation up to 24 h before and reviews from customers who actually booked. For example, the Costa Teguise off-road tour has 4.6 out of 5 from more than 5,500 reviews: check dates for the north buggy tour. More in GetYourGuide for buggy tours.
  • The operator direct: sometimes cheaper, as with Buggies Lanzarote.
  • excursionslanzarote.com: only if you want a product you cannot get elsewhere, such as the 200 hp Maverick or the Can-Am Spyder.
