Paracraft is, first and foremost, a sea company. It has been on Lanzarote since 1998, has bases at Playa Chica (Puerto del Carmen) and Marina Rubicón (Playa Blanca), and its website, watersports-lanzarote.com, focuses on jet skis and parasailing. The buggy is by far the product it publishes least about.

Quick verdict

Good for:

  • Anyone staying in Puerto del Carmen who wants to walk to the meeting point next to Playa Chica.
  • Anyone who wants buggy and jet ski (or buggy, jet ski and parasailing) in a single booking at a single place.
  • Groups of four in one buggy who are happy with a price of about €62.50 each.

Not for:

  • Drivers under 22. That is the highest minimum age of any buggy tour on the island.
  • Anyone who wants to know the route in advance: Paracraft doesn't publish its buggy route.
  • Anyone after a long dirt-track route in the north up to Peñas del Chache: that's H2O from Costa Teguise (H2O Sports review).

Website prices come with unusual decimals (€241.82, €145.09). We don't know whether that's a currency conversion or a price with some fee built in; what you see is what they show.

It also sells jet skis and parasailing on their own. GetYourGuide lists several jet ski and parasailing trips in Puerto del Carmen, but the platform doesn't confirm which listing is Paracraft's, so we don't attribute them.

Buggy route, vehicles and requirements

This is where Paracraft falls short on information.

  • Route: not published. No stops, no split between dirt track and tarmac. We haven't been able to confirm a single specific stop.
  • Vehicle: the listing says "state-of-the-art vehicle", with no model. You drive.
  • Who runs it: it isn't stated whether the fleet belongs to Paracraft or another company. Its FAQ only covers water sports.
  • Duration: 2.5 h on its website, 2 h on GetYourGuide.

The requirements, on the other hand, are clear on its website:

  • Drivers 22 or over, with a valid licence and 2 years' experience. One third-party listing says 21; Paracraft's own website says 22, and that's what counts.
  • Passengers from age 8, accompanied by an adult, at least 1.35 m tall.
  • Closed shoes compulsory.
  • For the Pack Duo they also ask you to bring your physical driving licence, warm clothing and a T-shirt to wear under the life jacket.

For the jet ski, its FAQ states: drivers 18 (16 with parental consent), no licence needed; maximum 120 kg on a single jet ski and 150 kg on a double. Parasailing from age 8 with an adult, up to age 75.

One point to bear in mind: with the public consultation the Cabildo opened on 2 October 2026 on buggies on tracks and rural land, any dirt section could move onto tarmac. As Paracraft doesn't publish its route, we can't tell you how much it would be affected. Nothing is banned today.

Price: direct vs GetYourGuide

On its own website Paracraft is roughly 3% cheaper:

  • 4-seater buggy: €241.82 direct vs €250 on GetYourGuide.
  • Pack Duo: €193.46 vs €200.
  • Pack Trio: €290.19 vs €300.

The real difference is cancellation. GetYourGuide lets you cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before. Paracraft's FAQ says it doesn't accept cancellations and you can only change the date with 24 hours' notice. For a plan that depends on the sea and the wind, paying about €6–10 more for the right to cancel is usually worth it.

There's one case where booking direct clearly wins: if only two of you are going in the buggy. Its 2-seater costs €145.09, much less than the 4-seater price shown on GetYourGuide. If that option doesn't appear in the calendar for your date, Paracraft's website is the way to go.

What the reviews say

On GetYourGuide, all three Paracraft products score well: 4.6 out of 5 for the Buggy Adventure (about 160 reviews), 4.6 for the Pack Duo (more than 200) and 4.9 for the Pack Trio, though with very few reviews so far.

We haven't been able to read its Tripadvisor page, so we won't summarise complaints or praise we haven't seen. On a tour with an unpublished route, recent reviews are your best clue to what you'll actually do. Read them on the listing before booking.

Weak points

  • No published route or vehicle. That's the biggest weakness compared with H2O, LanzaBuggy or Buggies Lanzarote, which detail their routes.
  • Minimum driver age of 22. It rules out drivers who can take a buggy out with other companies (at 20 or 21).
  • No cancellation on direct bookings. Only a change of date with 24 hours' notice.
  • Durations that don't match between its website and GetYourGuide.
  • Few reviews of the Pack Trio to judge it by.

How to book

  1. Decide how many of you will be in the buggy. If it's two, look at the 2-seater option.
  2. Check the driver is 22 and brings their physical licence.
  3. If you want to be able to cancel, book on GetYourGuide: Buggy Adventure, Pack Duo or Pack Trio.
  4. Ask about the route and the bad-weather plan.
